Solociccia Restaurant by Dario Cecchini Panzano, Chianti Introduction: This is the recently inaugurated restaurant of Dario Cecchini in the town of Panzano in Chianti. Dario is famous for his shop "Antica Macelleria Cecchini" in the same town. The restaurant offres a menu that may change from day to day. Visit: Lunch, August 2006 Food concept: Tuscan meat dishes with Daro's touch Execution of the menu dishes: Very good Divinity factor: Muscolini alla salvia. These "little muscles" were tender and tasty, cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed very much the "tenerumi in salsa verde". They had the unmistakable flavour of good meat. Wine: The house wine is offered. You can bring your own, there is no corkage fee. Service: Friendly. Clientele: It is hard to say, these are early days. Location and ambience: Just across the street from the Antica Macelleria. Chef/Owner: Dario joined the Red Room table at the end of the meal. Most of the clients were friends, the atmosphere quite relaxed and jovial. Value for money: Very good.
